Help finding strings.

I play an ESP LTD F-155DX, 5 string 35" scale. Right now i have DR hi beams. My dilemma is the intonation on the fifth string. I play a whole step down in my band, and the low A is .125. The string is not big enough for the tuning, and I'm having trouble finding a good set of heavy extra long scale strings. I need a .130 or .135 for the A. I play metal, and I like bright strings. Any body have a suggestion?

Check out Drop Zone and Drop Zone Plus strings by Rotosound: http://www.rotosound.com/dz66.html. Rotosound's website describes the strings as follows: "Two specialist sets from the Swing Bass 66 range [http://www.rotosound.com/swing66.html] aimed at bass players who use drop tunings. These sets allow players to lower their tunings down to B and an earthshaking F#, respectively."

DR does make sets with a .130 B. MR5-130 is the model number for their Hi-Beam set. If you dig the DR's, you might try a Low Rider set; they go on at a higher tension.

good luck!
