My new ESP I got.. Well it used actually.. Its new to me. It has some really old strings (the red silk is almost entirely worn off) and they sound AMAZING! They still have their zing to 'em.

I have no idea what strings they are.. I know they aren't Roto Swing because they seem to be nickel. They have a nice tinny metallic kinda sound. ESPECIALLY on the (lol) G string (lol).. What kinda rounds can I get (cheap) that are like that and last long?

I was thinkin some medium gauge Bass Boomers?

Is there silk on the ball end?
If not, GHS boomers
If so, could be Rotosounds

Rotosounds Nickel SwingBass 66 set have like an aqua blue / teal color silk on them.

No silk at the balls these are most likely boomers... They are very common, and most likely in every guitar store you can find... M3045X - .045 .065 .085 .105
