Help to Identify These Flats

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been playing a friends bass that has a nice set of flats on them, but he dosen"t remember the brand (he guessed maybe Fender or Labella) .They are quite smooth , seem to be medium gauge, nice thump ,yet good definition on E string .They have no thread on tuner end, and light blue thread on the bridge end.Any suggestions as to what are would be greatly appreciated.

Labellas. Probably the stainless flats. I have a set on one of my basses..

They sound like Fender flats to me. No silk at the posts, and a teal-greenish light blue silk on the ball ends. I always thought LaBellas had red or burgundy silks at the posts.

Mine don't. But then again, Fender and LaBella strings have always looked and felt nearly identical to me. I'm almost positive they're made in the same factory.
