Help me decide

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all, I'm looking for a new set of strings for my Warwick Streamer Pro-M.
I know that I want nickels, I want them to retain the growl that my Warwick has,
but I also want them to "sing", I want them to have a more 'open' sound.
The problem is that I don't have many choices here in Israel, I can choose from the following:
• D'Addario XL (tried them once and they were nice after they broke in but it still didn't sound perfect)
• GHS Boomers
• Fender 7250 Super Bass
• Fender 7150

Which of those do you think fits my description best?
Thanks,
Amit.

boomers have tons of bottom with sweet high end, the 7150 gives u that muted top and growly bottom, and 7250 for a vintage vibe

Likes GHS boomers myself of those. Do you like the sound of the stock strings by Warwick? If so, Id think theyd be available there thru warwick dealers.

Don't know about the stock strings,
I bought my streamer used so it didn't come with warwick strings and they are SS and I hate the feel of SS.
how would you describe the tone of the boomers?
