I bought Warwick Thumb bass (used) few years ago and haven't changed my string since. I want to put the same strings. It has a RED cloth where you string around the tuner. Is this warwick strings??

I'm not sure what Warwick uses on their basses, but I remember Rotosound strings having the red wrap on the strings. So maybe they are Rotosounds?

When you restring your bass, make sure the strings are put on properly. The way they are strung in the photo is incorrect. That is how you string a guitar, not a bass.

follow this guide when you restring and you'll see what's wrong with how it's strung now

I am gonna have to say that those are not rotos.

Rotos have a red wrap on the botton end by the ball to, just like a 1/2 inch or so of it.

Unless they used to be made this way, they are most likely not rotos.

This is a pic off of Musicians friend of Swing 66 strings

P.S. Rotos Rock
