Help me find long strings! (preferably coated too!)

I have a Schecter California Custom 5 as my first 5-string bass. This is a 35" scale jazz-style with top or thru-body stringing.

I prefer playing coated strings as I have acidic sweat and like the slippery feel and brightness. However, the 5th string Elixir produces does not have enough length on the widest wraps to reach the nut on this bass, even when top-loaded. I've run into the same problem with a 5-string set of D-Addario ProSteels.

I am trying a Cleartone low B on there now, which reaches the nut when top-loaded but is a tapered core string, which I don't really like the feel of.

So, what roundwound low B strings are there that have the following:
-Long enough to reach the low B on this bass (probably 36-37" before windings taper off)
-NOT tapered core

Stuff I would like to have (but are not deal-breakers):
-Higher tension
-Coated for long life
-Brighter sound

I play mainly pickstyle indie and rock/blues, although I do get into a little fingerstyle here and there.

Thanks! I've been tearing my hair out.

Strings

Have you tried the DR Extra Life coated strings?

The DR's are very long and fit my 35" Lakland with stringing through the body.

They have coated (and colored) strings

They are not cheap but it may help with what you need.

Look here and scroll down until you see the Extra Life strings:

The DR Mediums will string up on my top loading 34" bass with less than an inch to spare. If you get the longs or XL's you should be fine.

Hmm, guess I'm gonna have to order online. No place around here carries long scale DRs.

Are there any long-scale Rotos?
