Help Me ID this exposed core string

I'm trying to find out who makes these strings. It's a four string set with Exposed core. The color wrap on the string is a light brown-beige color. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hrmm... Dean Markley considers these "Taper" strings... While some other companies like GHS have a similar design for their "Contact Core" strings which are basically exposed cores wrapped in a fine wire over the core section.

I may list these in the "exposed' section now that I have looked at them more closely... I have yet to use them myself.

Yeah those tapers look exactly like GHS's 'exposed core' saddle huggers like on the Progressives.

There are a few companies that do their "exposed core" with the fine wire over the core. GHS is like that as well as SIT for example... SIT states the wrap is purely for cosmetic reasons and to protect hardware from the exposed hex core.

While LaBella / Fodera / Rotosound PSD have fully exposed cores with no wrap on them at all.

(For information purposes)

SIT Power Core strings are simply the core wire itself that goes over the bridge. No extra wrap over it.

I believe the Stainless Steel ones are like that for their extended bass range strings.

(I should have been more clear...)

The Nickel Plated Steel Power Core Bass strings have the fine wrap on them... not the Stainless Steel Extended range.

Unless this is a new thing they are doing?
