Help me identify strings

I just bought a used bass strung with a set I never saw.

They looked this way :
- no silk at the head or bridge
- stainless steel
- hexcore
- ball end (at the bridge) are not colored, look like shinny metal (no gold or black ball end)

Please, help me identify this set of string.

You'll never get a definitive answer on this - too many strings fit that description.

yeah, a LOT of strings fit that description.

Tell you what they're not:

* D'Addario ProSteels (color-coded ball ends)
* Blue Steels (those have a black or gunmetal ball end IME)
* Fender 7350s (red silk wrapping)

They could possibly be DR Hi-Beams, Ernie Ball Stainless Slinkies, or GHS Super Steels. If they appear coated (hard to tell on a new string without a microscope; an aged string will be corroded in very small spots as if the coating cracked, or will look slightly fuzzy in places), they could be Elixir Nanos.
