Help needed Indentifying Strings

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all,

Hopefully this will be a no-brainer to someone out there. Do these strings sound familiar?...

Dark Blue silks at the tuners, Red silks at the ball end. Round wound.

And I'm guessing they're steel wound as they sound very bright, even unplugged. That's compared to my usual Ernie Ball nickel Slinkys.

I recently picked up a used 5-String Ibanez BTB, and the seller didn't remember what strings they were. (Though they had been changed from the factory originals, which I believe would have been Elixirs.)

Thanks
