If you were to make your own custom set for C# F# B E, what gauges would you choose? Something that won't be too stiff or too loose..

C# F# B E.... C# being whole step higher than Low-B on a 5 string?

.122 .095 .065 .045

A .070 and a .052 would be ideal for the B / E, but they don't make them in the Nickel Lo-Rider...

Based on the D'Addario Tension Chart...

.122 = ~40lbs
.095 = ~42lbs
.070 = ~42lbs
.052 = ~42lbs

using the 45 and 65 up top it would bring those down to ~30lbs on the .045 and ~36lbs on the .065

You COULD do something like:

.120 .085 .065 .045
~36 ~34 ~36 ~30

But that would be low/medium low tension... but may be cool...

There arent too many inbetween gauges on the Nickel Lo-Riders...

Yes 1 step higher than a B on a 5 string. Is there something similar to the Lo-riders with more suitable gauges? By similar, I mean tone. Looking for a warm low mid heavy sound.

It just seems the B and E would be too loose, but might be worth a shot if there is nothing close to nickel Lo-Riders.
