Question Help with string identification please.

Alright guys and gals, I recently got a bass via a trade and as luck would have it I happen to LOVE the strings it came with.

The problem is I don't know for sure what kind they are and would like to see if I can get a resonable idea before I try and buy another set.

Here is what I can surmise:

-They are a 5 string set.
-They are long enough to fit both 34" and 35.25" scale basses while being strung THROUGH the body.
-They are round wounds and feel like nickel.
-The tuner end is wrapped with black.
-The B and E strings are taperwound at the bridge while the ADG strings are not.

I asked the seller who thinks that they are Rotosound Swingbass 45-130 but is unsure.

So what is the concensous here? Are they in fact swingbass? something else by rotosound? something else entirely?

Thanks!

The only set of strings I remember seeing that are wrapped in black are the strings that Carvin sells.

LaBella Hard Rockin Steel might be what you need. While I'm not 100% about the taper, they're black at the ends, come in long and extra long scales, and they're not super abrasive for steels.

La Bella HRS (steel) and Slappers (nickel) fit this description. So would Fender rounds, too.

Are the ball ends wrapped, too?

The ball ends are not wrapped. Looks like the HRS have the lead vote but if these are steel they feel waaaaaay different than the Dean Markley SR2000's I was previously using.
