Help stringing with ABM bridge/tailpiece

Sign in to disble this ad
Here is my dilemma-- Every bridge I have ever seen whether notched or hole through, holds the string when winding. All except the ABM. It seems like you need three hands. One to hold the ball in the bridge slot, one to wind, and one to hold the string down and add a bit of tension. Now I know this isn't possible in most cases SOOO, how do you keep the ball in the bridge slot? I'm trying to think of something to use and easily remove after changing strings, but so far no ideas.
