yes it's possible. Only Thomastik-Infeld seems to be doing high-C strings.

.035 is pretty heavy for a C imo.. more like a really light G


I've tried using a .035 for a C and ended up snapping it.. not to say you shouldn't try it, but that's my experience.

I agree it's heavy but in this set it's intended as a C in a six string set.

Thomastik-Infeld always use weird guages...

The acousticore C might seem a bit thick, but it's a nylon core string so it actually has a very low tension. Much lower than any steel string set.

A bronzewound guitar string should be long enough to reach the capstan.
