High C for Music Man weird?

Hey im wondering if i had a high C string instead of low B in my Musicman would work. And what strings should i try now!?

The grooves on your nut would no longer fit correctly. So you might want to swap it out for one with grooves fitted for the smaller strings. And you would need to do a good setup and set intonation. As for strings, many are offered as E to C sets so you might be able to get whatever you like now.

I did that with a G&L L2500 for a while using TI jazz flats. Liked it for chordal stuff a lot. IIRC I didn't have the change the nut on that bass though I did have to adjust the truss and intonation. Never really had any practical application for it but it was fun to play at home...

It should work.
Don't worry about the nut, I did it in 2 basses and didn't have to change the nut.
Get the same brand strings you get right now, and get a C string instead. Most common C string is .030, but I've seen 0.032 and 0.028 as well.
