| If it's got the phospher bronze D'Addarios on it, those ARE very high tension, which I wouldn't want on an acoustic bass guitar.
Mine is wearing a set of GHS precision flatwounds in light gauge, .43-.95, I believe. The strings give it a little more of an upright sound, and don't put so much tension on the top. Tapewounds, such as LaBellas and the new GHS tapes sound good on ABGs as well. |
