Highest Output Stainless Round

I would like your opinion on what you believe to be the highest output stainless steel round wound available.
I play in rock cover band and switch between a P and J. I play Daddario Pro Steels on both. I like the bright tone however the jazz is not as loud. Since I dont have much time for amp tweaking between songs I thought I may be able to balance the output of the basses with strings.

Thanks

i wasnt aware strings had much to do with output levels...

have you tried raising your pickups to be closer to the strings?

Yes I have the Jazz pups raised as much as possible. They are 72 fender pups and the output on the low side. Decent tone though. Hate to lower the P pup as I love the sound of it as is.
I believe strings are a factor in output. Its tough to experiment much since they cost so much. I tend to buy the most affordable that work and are easy to find at the local stores.

hmm i see... in that case I really dont know. I would honestly be surprised though if you were able to get the Jazz to be as loud as the P simply due to string choice... :\
