Hollow Bodies and Flats

I am going to hopefully be getting a hollow body bass soon. Ibanez Artcore to be exact, and was wondering if anyone has tried this bass or another hollow body like an EPiphone Jack Casidy with flatwound strings. and how it sounded.

I tried various flats on my Jack bass.......TI's felt just right for this bass, although the tone was not consistant across the board. The GHS Pressure wounds (flatwound depth and punch meets round wound clarity) were ideal for the jack; full, loud, percussive! what more could you want? Juststrings.com offers both brands.
