I use those strings and locally I pay $18 out the door because I've said I will just not buy them here anymore. You got taken to the bank so to speak, but that's the price you pay for convenience...right?? Don't worry you're not alone! We've all paid high prices on string at one point or another. |

No one lied to you about what the strings were, no one put a gun to your head and made you buy strings from the stinky feet woman, and there was no deception. They offered a price and you accepted.
Now, if they'd told you they were selling you two sets and you only got one, that's a rip-off. But just because you were too lazy to to check a few websites to see what different strings sell for before you bought, that's no reason to use words like "ripped off" or "screwed".

I usually order the twin pack from MF for $25 total - but then you have to pay for shipping unless you bump the order up to $100 with stuff like extra strap, strap locks, and other accessories that I generally don't need. So, who's to say if you got ripped off or not! hahaha
Oh - this Friday some online stores are having 20% off too - so in theory you could get a twin pack for about $20, plus a few dollars shipping. It would take about a week to receive though.
Bought GHS Boomers at a local store recently for only $15/pack. That was a decent deal, and the strings turned out to be nice.

Plus, you have the strings and didnt have to wait a week. That, also, is worth $7. Youre golden!
