how can i deal with strings being too long

Sign in to disble this ad
i have a bit of an oddball setup but i want to use a particular type of string.

the only problem is that the set is too long with the taper coming in too long.

so its either strip the taper back which will be a real pain everytime i replace the strings.... or shorten the ball end.

i was thinking using some kind of elbow joint pipe extension??

anyone done something like this . The only problem with the pipe option is that its a thro body affair so the pipe might dig into my body.
