Mine should be in tomorrow and my band is recording a live cd January 12, and I'd like to break them in ASAP. |

I will add that the Jameson's take some getting used to if you are coming from a lighter gauge.

Fender and Chromes take a while.
Be sure to clean them off real good with some denatured alcohol on a rag before you install them.
If you don't they play real slow and your fingers will turn black.

Put them on and start playing! I don't know if you'll notice a difference by January, but that's not necessarily a bad thing since they will sound great immediately!
