hahah. So much for that. First, I thought amazon had one of the best prices on Thomastiks, now I know that they have the worst!

That's rediculous

In all fairness though, it isn't Amazon's fault. They're being sold by "The Instrument Store" through Amazon.

one time i got a set up done at a local music store, set of infeld stirngs cost me 70 dollars. I almost strangled th dude when I was told that. Especially when the last time I bought them at another store they were like 34.

I usually pay $75 to $85 per set of the 5-string Tomasik flat wound jazz strings. Worth every penny to my hands and ears.

I got really excited there for a minute. I was about to figure out if they sold a 5 string set on Amazon and buy a whole truck load. As for the folks thinking they're expensive, the last set I bought was about $75 for 5-string set if I remember correctly. They're just expensive strings.
