| | | | You mean the little screws that the bridge saddle sit on aren't attached? That standard. putting a new string on will hold it down. |

that'll also take care of the loose bridge... |

Take it to your teacher, a friend, or a music store and ask them to walk you through the process of changing a string. As a rule, I usually change out the set if a string breaks. When one breaks in the set it usually signals me the rest of the strings are probably past due to be changed out as well, IME&O.
If your not new to this, as was mentioned before TIME TO SELL THE BASS AND BUY A NEW ONE.
However, I tend to guess that you are new. So don't worry about it man. Welcome to the world of finding the perfect string.
Hey I just used three smilies in one response. Uh....make that four.

I'm sure he can prescribe something.
Of course now you need a new bass.
Let me recommend a Fodera Emperor II.
Fodera puts new G strings on all their basses.
When you break the G string again, PM me.
I'll take the Fodera off your hands and you can get a Sadowsky next time.
Sadowsky also puts new G strings on all their basses...

Found great humor in responses although OP made me fear a little for humanity. Will read again. JoelB79 wins award for best reply, although he stole my name... bastard. |
