I want to try another set of flats. Something warmer and punchier than TI Jazz Flats, but with same (or just slightly more) tension.

I don't how the tension compares to the TIs, but DR Legend Flats are punchy. Play fingerstyle near the neck and the warmth is like being wrapped in a blanket, sitting near a fireplace and sipping brandy.

Order a set of GHS Precision flats in light gauge (.40-.95). A little more old school sounding with some more thump, and only slightly more tension. I use both sets.

I don't have a 5er and don't downtune, so I probably won't need a 5th string. Yes, I'd love to have a more old-school tone, with less sustain and more low-end punch, thanks for your suggestion.

+1 on the GHS, they're thumpy and kinda low tension. Labellas are good too, they have a set aroun 95-40 (model number 760FX if I remeber correctly).

I was initially thinking about Pyramid flats. Are they any good?

NO! They're stiff and thumpy.

Try the new Fender 9050CL 45-60-80-105 set. Exactly what you're looking for: punchier with just a little bit more tension, and even across the board.
