i have to get new strings now....

i have to get new stings now.....
i was watchin this clip with victor wooten and he was saying how he was tuned at ADGC and i thought i would try it too..... i get all the the lower ones tuned and then when i almost had my G string to a C, it snaped.....
so now i got to buy new strings and i was wondering what kind i should get. I have a geddy lee fender.
any suggestions would be nice. also, if playing style or anything like that matters, just ask and i can answer you.

Please tell me you didn't try to tune EADG to ADGC.....



You would probably need a 6 string set and throw away the B and E strings to get that tuning.

Yeah.... am.. you're supposed to get new strings, to include a .28 C, and change out your nut to get that "Stanley Clark" ADGC tuned bass..

Hey, look on the bright side, new strings sound nice, and D'Addario pro steels are only $18 or so.

haha, yea, im pretty much a noob for doing that, but oh well....
i was thinking that i needed a different kind of sting set.....
