I Just Saw A Business Peace on DAddario

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm an accountant and as such I watch a lot of business news. I love it more than music actually. I'm watching Your $ on CNN right now. They are talking about jobs. They featured DAddario due to the fact that he's a manufacturer and hasn't laid a ton of people off. He believes you retrain them to do something else. He recenlty bought a strap company and moved jobs FROM China TO his RI factory. XL's were already my favorite string but I started playing with a pick recently. From now on I'm going to play with DAddario picks only and if I ever need another strap I'll look for a DAdario one.

Bravo, D'Addario!
It's nice to see corporate leaders do something other than "take the money and run." With such an approach to business, who knows? -- we might crawl out of this hole yet.

When you realize just how hurtin' the State of Rhode Island is in this down economy, you realize what a solid citizen D'addario must be. (and a good business man!)

The US string business seems immune to foreign price pressure, except a little from the EU, and I have no idea why.

To think this will last long is naive, but it's nice while it lasts.

I suppose accountants don't need to know the difference in "peace" and "piece". Or maybe Daddario was trying to make peace.

Goodwill toward men.

realized it 5 minutes after I posted it.

No offense, I scored in the 98 percentile on the GMAT which is 20 percentiles than I scored on the math section so I should have caught it.
