i like the feel of loose strings.
i play 4 string in Eb, mostly with 2 fingers and some chords, once in a while ill thump/pop some octaves or ghost notes
i run 45-105 d'addarios, just the normal kind. i guess they are nickel? round wounds. i keep my action pretty high cause i dig kinda deep
could i move to a smaller string to keep a loose feel, then tune up to E. or even stay in Eb with that loose feel? 40-100 maybe? maybe i should try a different brand? id like to try them all but im not rich so only get new ones every few months.
what do you guys think?
