You need to know what they sound like on "your" bass. Try them out.

They are really good strings. They sound great, feel a little rough, and age really really well. They are my favorites strings. I play rock if that helps.

They are fabulous strings. I use the nickel ones. At $30 or less per set, buy a set and try them! How can we possibly tell you what they will sound like on your bass?

Cheers!

they remind me of diaddario's some what. I use to use them all the time, but my RBX's neck tends to twist on the high c side and I have to run a .060 d string to combat this. I loved the way they sounded though. I need to get a set to try with my new Zon.

I dig the sound, but on the set I tried the core was a bit thin for my tastes (I've got a fairly firm touch). If you have a reasonably light touch, they're definitely worth a shot. Very bright, punchy, and articulate. When I tried them I was looking for something that would add a bit of "pop" to one of my instruments that I loved playing, but wasn't cutting through against guitar and horns. These strings definitely helped.
