I need new strings!!

So, my e-string just broke and I need myself some new strings.

I am also recording an EP this Wednesday for a hardcore band. Now I was wondering which strings would suit that kind of music the best?

Thanks!

Lol, another one of these questions.

Rather than asking what kind of strings are good for your genre you should ask what kind of sound you want from your bass. I've seen all types of strings used in all genres. Find a bassist who you really love the sound of (doesn't have to be metal) and find out what strings they use. I started using Dr hi beams because of Ryan Martinie and never looked back, couldn't be happier.
