Actually, they were a 5 year old set of Labella Nylon Tape wounds....WOW!!!
They sound awesome on this bass...I thought the DR Black beauties sounded very good, but I was going for a little bit more of the URB vibe and I had the set laying around (I don't know why I didn't think of it before).
OUTSTANDING! Nice deep lows, still plenty of mwah (not as harsh, more mellow like an upright).
I'm so happy with my wishbass...I'm quite willing to accept all the arrows and spears that people throw at them.
