For sure on that. All I use is TI jazz flats.

Ernie Ball flats are also pretty good sounding flats.

Last night was my first practice with them. Still awfully bright and clacky.. I had to roll my tone knob all the way down.

The tension isn't that disorienting, at least not as much as the gauge. That G is tiny!
