I want to experiment with strings

I want to experiment and try some differnt brands od strings on my 5 string. I current use D'addario's on all my basses but want to see if their is a brand I like better.
I plan on putting on a set of Ernie Balls I bought a couple of weeks ago. I am taking suggestions.

I recently switched from D'addario to Dean Markley Blue Steels for all my basses.

I hear extremely good things about DR Hi Beams. I've had D'Addario's for a long time and I'm going to try DR's next.

D'Addarios are good but DR's are GREAT!

I liked the Ken smith strings i had for a bit, But i hated how clanky they were fresh, and then they got good after three or four days. Then they died a week later... NOT COOL! But their cheap, and they got lots of different kinds yhou could try
