Ibanez strings??

Years ago when I had my Peavy G-V, I bought some intersting strings for it. Problem is, I don't exactly remember what the were. I remember it being something like "Ibanez Blue Bronze" or some-such. They had a blue core with nickle or steel(or some other silvery metallic substance) wound loosley around it. Each wrap was about 1 mm apart, and you could see the blue core. Can anyone help me figure out what these were? I would love to get another set if they are still available.

Some years ago, there was a review in Bass Player of a fretless BTB 5-string that had these strings. I believe they were a copper/nickel or copper/stainless steel mix.
I know I have that issue hidden away somewhere...wonder if I can find it...?

Well, I found that BP issue. The strings were a stainless steel/copper mix, and were (at least in 2000, the year that issue was out) available from Ibanez. I looked on the Ibanez site and didn't see any mention of them. You might try contacting them directly, or contacting them via your nearest dealer.
