So I found a set of flatwounds in the closet that I must have gotten on a bass I bought and took off to offer here on TB. I only ever used two styles of flats, TI's (with red strings) and Joe Osborn flats that have black silks. These have are neither which makes me think they came on something I bought.
They look to be in great shape but I have no idea what they are. They have green silk down at the ball end an no silk at the peg end. They are the kind of flats with the smaller wire at the top where you wind. I think LaBella does that but I am not sure if anyone else does.
Thoughts?

I will throw them out there cheap in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

Then like a dumb **** I cut them for my 3+1 headstock fretless. Way too much drag imo for a fretless, and the tone was ok at best. Now, after I replaced them with roto rounds, they sit on my dresser waiting for me to get another 3+1 or 2+2 headstock. |

I have an SX fretless P-Bass, and I just ordered these strings from Johnny Alien. Thanks!

Thanks! | I think you'll love the tone. But it has a lot of drag that you wouldn't want on a fretless, but not enough drag that you'd notice on a fretted. Honestly I'd like to trade my fender flats for roto flats or dr rounds... :P |
