ID these strings please

I just picked up a 2002 MIM Pbass, and it has roundwound strings on it with black threads on both ends of the string, and all brass colored rings (as opposed to colored rings like DRs). Any idea what they are?

Stock on MIM= 7250s. I think they're SS?

Yeah - they sound like the stockers that Fender puts on the MIM Js.

I had them and ripped them off for Elixir Nanos in about 2 minutes after I got the bass home. Never looked back.

Funny that I love those same strings on my new VM J though. Go figger.

Makes sense to me. The bass is mint and probably sat in a closet for 8 years. Possibly the orginal set.
