Exclamation Identify my strings!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, one of the strings on the bass I got a could months ago popped, and I would like to keep the same type of strings on there. Only problem is that I don't know what they are.

All I can tell is that they might be a roundwound, and they have a purple silk at the top and bottom.
They are on a 35 scale bass, and they have quite a bit left over, so they might be extra long. But in my opinion they are lower tension, and are pretty smooth (but that could be from use)
Just noticed this also, they are tapered (I think thats the word, they start small at the start and get larger.)
Thanks!

The E, D, and G strings look to be Ken Smith Custom Balanced Taper Cores. On those the E and A string are Taper Core.

That is not a Ken Smith B string though...
