Identifying strings

Sign in to disble this ad
Don't you hate it when you get a new bass, and you don't know what strings are on it? I bought this Ibanez SRX400 from a pawn shop, and they don't know anything about strings. Anyone know an easy way to identify strings?
Things I know about the strings: They are supposedly a very heavy gauge, they don't have silks on the ends, and they have gold balls. And I love them, and I want more.
Here are some pictures, as futile as this whole endeavor might be.

Thanks, if you can help.

The guy at the shop said that the guy who brought it in said that the strings were specially gauged and extra heavy, and would probably require online ordering. If that helps.
