Hi!
I am a total noob when it comes to strings, so be patient with me

Im a pick player and im looking for the bass tone in this song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zKk3S33QJQ

I have a Fleabass, and the sound of that bass with the original strings sounds kinda like that. But it had a lot of fretbuzz and that was not very nice, but i like a little fretbuzz :P

I just snapped the g string of the original set, and i have to buy new ones :P

Ty for the tips!

I'd say get some Rotosounds. Flats for the nice warm sound, rounds for a punchier, brighter tone.
