Infeld Superalloy string length

Anyone have a problem with the Infeld Superalloy strings not being the correct length? I purchased 2 sets of IN344 for my G&L L2000 and the E string silk and taper is the correct length if I was to install it on the A string tuner post. I sent the question to Thomastik-Infeld with a picture showing the string and have not received a response. The string is thru the bridge to show the length.

Never had that issue and I used that string a bunch a few years back. Maybe they got the wrong string in the box ?

I do not know where you purchased these from but if you still have not received a reply let me know and I will help you out.

IN344 should be a 37" winding ball to silk...

Thanks Jason, I really hoping to hear a reply from them by now. The E string measures 39" from ballend to start of the silk so I'm assuming these are the 36" scale strings put in the wrong package.

Correct. If you still have the sleeve see if the part number is IN361** or IN341** for the E string.

Pm me your info and I'll talk to them for you.

I spoke with them about your situation and they are sending me 2 of the CORRECT length E strings to send to you.

Please contact me with your ship-to information as I do not have it. Not sure who you purchased these from...

THANKS!

I just packaged up your strings and measured them.

All the 105s are 38" back of the ball to silk. If measured from the front of the ball its still a little longer than the 37"

This is still shorter than the 39" you received. Looking at your photo the full winding should end right at the E string tuning post. Perfect!

You should see them in a couple of days.
