J BASS STRINGS HELP

Hey guys i have a j-bass and i play alternative/metal, i want some warm sounding strings with some punch, what do you all suggest? I really have no idea what to get and with all the options out there i figured id come to the experts, btw i just ordered some SD antiquity II's so keep that in mind

considering you have antiquities, im guessing your going for maybe a more vintage, warm tone? if so id suggest trying out d'addario chromes or fender flatwound strings. they really have a nice warm tone to them, and they make a jazz bass sound more full. but if flats aren't your thing, then maybe try dean markley blue steels.

fwiw, i use fender flatwounds with a jazz bass in a hardrock/blues band, and they work perfect.
