anybody recommends or knows exactly how often itīd be good for my bass to have the strings changed?

1/ When they won't hold tuning or intonation.

2/ When they no longer sound good to you.

Just David got it right. That's how I do my changes when they are ready. Then again, this totally is subjective. Some folks like only the sound of new, crisp strings. Others prefer them with a little age and no new zing, and others like to change them only if they break.
