Ken Smith Bass Burners

Since the Fender strings I used to use have changed-that is, made by another manufacturer-I decided it was time to look for something different.

So I replaced the last of the old 7250L's with Ken Smith Bass burners, 040-.100

I like these strings a lot! Great sound and feel. They're not too twangy. They have a good response from string to string, and a good solid bottom end.

I like them. Anybody else?

I'm a fan of Ken Smith strings. Their short scale roundwounds are the best I have ever found for my Gibson SG bass. Great tension and tone. Glad you like them.

Tried them yrs ago, too many dead strings in the packages. Out of 4 pkg 2 had bad strings. Never tried them again.
