Ken Smith Burners?

Too bad that DR doesn't make a nickel Lo-Rider 035-095 set. So, I'm considering a 035-095 Burner set (nickel). According to my research, I'm convinced that Burners sound great, but do they last long? Nickel Lo-Riders last for 4-5 months for me.

I like those strings a lot, they are bright without being shrill and thery have a nice, flexible feel to them. I don't remember them lasting any longer or shorter than any other nickel roundwound. Go ahead and try a set.

IME, Ken Smith Bass Burners seem to last a long time, and they sound and feel great!

For a looooooong time I used Ken Smith Burners exclusively. I've only recently found strings that I actually like more (Sadowsky's and DRs). Needless to say they are great strings.

Yep, I switched from Fenders to Ken Smiths. Burners for fretted, Compressors for fretless. Love'em

Love Burners more than anything but I don't think they lasted that long for me. D'Addarios have a longer lasting usable sound to me, but Burners are really my favorite feeling string along with it being so tonally responsive.

Yes +1 on being tonally responsive! Very good at that and the best trait about them.
