Thumbs up Knucklehead Strings Praise!!

I ordered two sets of 45-105 knucklehead bass strings and got a phone call from Dallon, the owner of the company, a few days later saying the manufacturer was really running behind. So after playing phone tag he finally got ahold of me again and apologized many times and let me change my selected string gauge to the slightly heavier gauge so they would ship that day. He also threw in a free set of guitar strings and a t-shirt. He was very personable and I enjoyed talking to him. He asked about my band and seemed to genuinely care and want to make me as happy as possible. I wish all companies were this easy to deal with!
The best part is that their bass strings are very good and perfect for me

Greetings from the North,

Do you find their strings to be more course/rougher than the strings you replaced? I had thought about trying them out based on how BP Mag rated them in their big string comparison a few years back.

Heard about these strings for the first time a few months ago. Curious to know what they're like.
