La Bella 0760m tension

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey there guys,

I noticed a big difference when using the La Bella 0760m set.

G string = high tension, dies off quickly and very bright because of it I guess.
D&A string = perfectly balanced compared with eachother.
E string = Loose and flabby, but still deeper then the rest.

The G string tension is so much higher then the DAE-strings, it dies off almost immediately compared to the other strings.
And the E string is just not that high tensioned as I want it to be.

I use the Squier CV 60's Pbass, my action is pretty high, but my luthier lowered it a bit when setting up the bass, but I've always had this imbalance.
