La Bella Danelectro Strings

Hey so I was searching through La Bella's small arsenal of flatwounds available for purchase on http://www.juststrings.com/labellael...assguitar.html.
Anyways, I looked at the danelectro flatwound and saw it's ridiculous small size. Would these strings fit and work okay on a standard P or J bass?

These are designed for a short scale Danelectro. For a standard scale (34") Fender-type bass, you'd want to stay away from these.

If you're looking for La Bella flats in particular, maybe try these:

Good luck!

Cool, thanks for the info..I just heard from interviews from John Entwistle and such that they have a pretty cool, piano-like sound to them, and that's the sound I'm kinda aiming for, so I wanted to know if I could use 'em or not.
