La Bella Flats Comparison - 760FX Vs 760FL

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone any experience with these two flats (760FX - extra light vs 760FL - light gauge) - how do they compare in terms of tension? Are they also similar in tone?

I have been using the TI flats for just over two years and want to try the La Bella flats. I am very happy with the tension of the TI flats, hence needing to order one with relatively the same tension as the TI?

Cheers!

They definitely feel tighter than TI's . they are the most supple flats I have used besides the TI's. My new strings of choice!

Yes, but not by much. I didn't care for the FX set; too light and tangy for me. La Bellas, to me, should have some heft to them in order to do what they are supposed to do: sound like flats.

Hard to compare TI Jazz Flats to anything else; they are unique.

I've had mine on for a month now and they have lost the twang. Still bright for flats though. More versatile.
