La Bella rounds

I'm trying out strings for my new Lakland Skyline JO 5-string. I see that La Bella has extra long scale strings in several lines, including Deep Talkin' Bass, Hard Rockin' Steel and Super Steels. I play mostly country-rock and pop with this bass. Which one of these should I choose, and why?

Roscoe Beck, who has played with Robben Ford, the Dixie Chicks, and many others, uses Hard Rockin' Steels. I use them myself and love 'em.

Don't let the name (Hard Rockin') deceive you. IMO they have nice rich tone, and aren't as treble-heavy as Rotosounds, Hi Beams, and others. If it turns out you need something smoother, go with a nickel string.
