Labella 760FD Dano flats - anyone tried them?

I've got a Jerry Jones Longhorn copy and was getting ready to order the Labella Beatle bass flats for it when I just read about these. Has anyone tried them or have any opinions? The gauges are unusually light, with the low E being only .079 I believe, though the G is a respectable .049. Is that gauge thick enough to get a decent amount of low end out of? I could see the lighter gauge working on a Hofner, for example, since those basses already have more than enough deep bass tone, but a Dano Longohrn can get fairly bright on it's own and I wouldn't say the low end is overwhelming on them. Or are these some sort of specialty strings that give you a completely different tone (i.e. more of a Fender VI tick tack type of sound, for example).

My guess is that they're designed to be to the same specs as what originally came on the old Danos. But I can't confirm that.

This is the first time I'm hearing of these. I assume they're short scale since you wnat to put them on a Jerry Jones? I can't find the scale info on any website that has these for sale. If they are, I'd love to slap them on my Dano '63 reisuuse short-scale.

But are they any different from the regular La Bella flatwounds (which are beyond great btw)?

The 760FD set is to the original spec by the original supplier. My Dano's sound awesome with them. I use La Bella flatwounds exclusively on all my basses, 760FD for my Dano's and 760FX for my others. Nothing seems to sound as good or have the same feel.
