For those who have used them, what are your opinions on them?

Unfortunately, they're nothing special. They sound like bland rounds. The Flats for that "model" of strings is wayyy better. Hard Rockin' Steels if you want La Bella rounds, I say.

Yes, the rounds are very bland. Not very bright. I installed a set on a customer's bass... he supplied them. I wouldn't use them myself.

The Deep Talkin' Bass flats are very nice, and sound as bright as the rounds.
