| | | | labella vs ghs tapewound for ABG

I just got a fender kingman acoustic bass and the stock strings are not going to cut it for me.
I use 760FL LaBella Deep Talkin' Bass Flatwounds on my electric and they are great.
I'm thinking I should either get the GHS 3060 black nylon tapewound or the labella 760n black nylon tapewound.
Has anyone compared to the two?
looking for some reviews if you have...

IMO:
Feel: Exactly the same.
Tone: I found the E and A strings to sound identical. The GHS D and G strings were a bit brighter.
Price: The GHS strings cost way less.

| | | | I can get the la bella strings for $30 plus shipping online which isn't bad.
I don't know where to buy the ghs but I saw a link somewhere and they were like $24 plus shipping so not a big difference on the price.
Thanks for the reply, I will be using these on a fender kingman acoustic bass.
...not sure if giving url's is against the rules but imperial guitar online has excellent deals on la bella strings, if someone can message me a good place to buy the ghs online that would be cool

I can get those for $17.50 plus shipping.
I'm looking at the 760N.
P.S. I hate going to the carvin site, it just reminds me how much I want a carvin electric bass, I love the BB70P, can't afford it

I'm looking at the 760N. | The picture is wrong.
Product overview reads "acoustic black tape wound strings", which as you state, are the 760N's.
I've purchased several sets from Carvin. |
